PANDAWA BEACH,- Once known as the secret beach due to its inaccessibility, Pandawa Beach is now open for visitors and beach lovers as the road heading to the site has been repaired.

Pandawa Beach is located in Kutuh village, around 20 minutes’ drive from Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park in Jimbaran.

Badung regional administration seems to be serious in promoting Pandawa Beach as a new destination in the regency. Hundreds of palm trees have been planted on both sides of the main road to beautify the route. Pandawa Beach, overlooking the Indian Ocean, has astonishing natural beauty with hard-sand cliffs and crystal clear water.

A number of new tourist facilities are being constructed on the way to the beach. Several plots of land are already being prepared by investors for various tourist-related projects. 

Decorative: Interesting statues adorn the newly accessible beach destination in south Bali. The beach was named after the five Pandawa brothers (Yudhistira, Bima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sadewa) from the famous Indian epic, Mahabharata.

On one side of the cliff are several statues portraying the five brothers. Unfortunately, it is very hard to distinguish which is Arjuna or Bima as the statues look very similar. I Wayan Wati, a local resident, remembered the beach as Melasti or Melis Beach, where villagers would perform purification rituals.

Leisure time: Several people sit in the shade and enjoy the beauty of Pandawa Beach.
